Customer Reviews & Testimonials
You know the testimonials page on most contractor websites. Five glowing quotes, first name and last initial, no way to verify any of them.
We're not going to do that. Anyone can type a paragraph and attribute it to "Sarah M., Meridian." It proves nothing, and you already know it proves nothing.
Read the real ones instead
Our reviews live on Google, where customers wrote them and where we can't edit or remove them.
Search Top Shelf Moving and Junk Removal in Google or Google Maps. That's the parent company behind this site, and it's where the review history is.
Read whatever's there, good and bad. A profile you can look up yourself is worth more than any quote we could put on this page.
How to actually read contractor reviews
Since you're going to be comparing a few companies anyway, here's what we'd look at.
Look for specifics. A review that mentions a slab, a narrow gate, a wasp nest, or how long the crew took is describing a real job. "Great service, highly recommend" could be about anything.
Check how a company responds to criticism. Every business that's been around a while has a bad review somewhere. What matters is whether the response tries to fix the problem or just argues.
Watch the timing. Twenty reviews posted in one week is a pattern. Steady reviews spread over years is a business.
And be a little skeptical of perfect scores. Demolition happens in people's yards, in bad weather, around things that break. Nobody bats a thousand.
If you'd rather talk to someone
Reviews only tell you so much. If you want a better sense of how we work, the practical route is to call and ask about a job like yours.
Ask what we'd do about your specific situation — the slab, the footings, the pre-1980 siding, the gate that's too narrow for a wheelbarrow. How someone answers a specific question tells you more than a page of quotes.
You can also ask for a certificate of insurance before you book anything. That's a normal request and we'll send it.
If something went wrong on your job
This part matters more than the compliments.
If we damaged something, missed debris, left nails in the grass, or the crew didn't do what we said they'd do, call us before you write anything. (208) 943-5231.
We'd genuinely rather come back and fix it. A missed load, a cracked sprinkler head, or a gate that didn't get latched are all things we can sort out in an afternoon. They're much harder to fix six months later.
And if you've already left a bad review, that's fair. Call anyway. We'll still come make it right, and you're under no obligation to change what you wrote.
If it went well
Leaving a review on the Google profile helps more than you'd think, especially for a small local operation.
The useful ones mention what the job actually was. What kind of shed, what it was sitting on, what your yard looked like afterward. That's the detail the next homeowner is searching for when they're standing in their backyard wondering who to call.
The takeaway
Don't take our word for it, and don't take a made-up quote for it either. Look up Top Shelf Moving and Junk Removal on Google, read what real customers wrote, then call us with the specifics of your shed.
